As you get older, muscles tend to get weaker and your balance may not be as good as it was. That’s why it’s really important to keep active and maintain your strength and balance so you can avoid injuries and continue living life the way you want. Taking part in group exercise is also a great way to meet people and feel happier.

Classes and opportunities

  • New Age Games

    New Age Games is a sport and physical activity programme for Hackney residents aged 50 and over. Classes are currently being held online. Check Hackney Council’s website for details of classes available.

  • Clissold walking group

    We work in partnership with New Age Games and Fit for Health to run a walking group in Clissold Park every Wednesday from May to October. Refer yourself or someone else via this form.
